Manager, Planning, Analytics & Optimization
The Planning, Analytics and Optimization Manager is a key member of the Wondr Nation Finance team and will be a crucial business partner and advisor to the Executive Director of Finance and Administration. The individual will collaborate with various business partners to provide them with analytical support for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive profitable growth.
Candidates must have the ability to work flexible hours as needed and be willing to travel as required. This role is remote and will require travel.
Essential Duties
Must adhere to the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe's Policies and Procedures.
Oversee the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) support within the business to provide analysis on actual results, develop forecasts, and help develop actions to achieve the forecasts
Provide ad-hoc project analysis, prepare value-based financial analyses and pro forma financial statements for all potential opportunities
Provide financial, operational and labor analyses / forecasts; develop and support the Company's annual budget, forecasting and strategic planning process
Assist with the development and implementation of customer lifetime value models; customer life-cycle based marketing, real-time marketing, integrating predictive analytics and optimization of player interactions
QUALIFICATIONS
Fluent in SQL, SAS, R, or Python
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience interpreting and effectively communicating results
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Advanced skills in Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics, or other similar BI tools)
Proficient in working with large datasets
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or other related fields
A minimum of six (6) years experience in data mining, data analysis and data management
At least three (3) years in technology, gaming or iGaming
