CSR Ambassador

Under the supervision of the Social Responsibility Manager, the Casual Team Member serves as a Social Responsibility Ambassador responsible for executing Wondr Smart Labs STEM sessions and related events in Mashantucket and supporting community-related events in the broader Connecticut area as needed.


Qualifications

  • Knowledge, passion and an interest in working with children and youth, as well as a passion and interest in Tribal and community programs and STEM-related topics and careers.

  • Knowledge of coding is a plus.

  • Must possess excellent communication and people skills with an ability to facilitate groups.

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be willing to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel throughout Connecticut.

Financial Analyst

The Finance Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Wondr Nation’s financial planning, analysis, and operational finance processes. This position owns the end-to-end purchase order and check request workflow, leads departmental budget tracking and variance analysis, and supports preparation of financial materials for executive leadership, Board, and Tribal Council reporting.

The role partners closely with Accounting and department leaders to provide financial insights, improve spending visibility, and strengthen financial discipline across the organization.


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required. 

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in finance, accounting, or budget analysis.  

  • Experience supporting remote or hybrid teams required.  

  • Experience with accounting and financial forecasting systems (i.e. Excel, Oracle, etc.) required.  

  • Experience managing procurement or PO processes preferred.  

  • Experience supporting Board-level reporting or executive presentations preferred.

Brand Ambassador

Under the supervision of the Digital Marketing Manager, the Casual Team Member serves as a brand ambassador responsible for executing local marketing activations throughout the state of Connecticut, in nearby NE-regional areas, and on property at Foxwoods, engaging with consumers, and ensuring Wondr Nation establishes strong community connections. The role spends over 50% of their time in the field promoting Wondr Nation and designated partners at events, festivals and other community touchpoints. Casual Team Members will be the eyes and ears of the brand, gathering feedback, building strong connections with our audience, and helping the Wondr Nation team achieve its performance goals.


Qualifications

  • Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be willing to work flexible hours during nights, weekends and holidays.

Human Resources Coordinator

The Human Resource (HR) Coordinator at Wondr Nation plays a vital role in supporting the HR department’s functions within a dynamic, remote/hybrid work environment. This role primarily supports and executes HR processes under the direction of the Executive Director of Finance and Administration and HR Generalist. Responsible for assisting with recruiting, onboarding, maintaining team member records, coordinating HR processes, and implementing new HR initiatives. The HR Coordinator helps foster a positive, inclusive company culture and ensures HR compliance across flexible working arrangements. 


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent Acquisition:

  • Support the recruitment process by posting jobs, scheduling interviews in-person and via virtual platforms, and communicating with candidates.

  • Facilitate seamless onboarding for team members (including remote, hybrid and local), including preparing digital documentation, conducting virtual and in-person orientations, and orienting new hires to Wondr Nation’s culture and processes.

Employee Engagement & Culture:

  • Coordinate training, development programs, and assist with team-building activities to promote engagement.

  • Contribute to creating and maintaining a positive and inclusive organizational culture through virtual initiatives.

  • Support organizational communication efforts, ensuring clarity and transparency across remote teams.

HR Operations & Administration:

  • Maintain and update team member records, Lattice system, and confidential files, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Assist with the implementation and continuous improvement of HR processes and policies, including remote work protocols and communication channels.

  • Support benefits administration, including enrollment, questions, and health and wellness programs for remote/hybrid staff.

  • Support compliance with federal, state, Tribal, and gaming regulatory HR requirements.

  • Assist with performance management processes, tracking reviews, and facilitating goal setting.

  • Respond to team member inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and work guidelines.

  • Assist with audits, documentation tracking, and policy adherence.

  • Additional HR related tasks / duties

Reporting & Analytics:

  • Prepare HR reports and dashboards, tracking key metrics related to remote/hybrid workforce engagement.

Special Projects & Process Improvement:

  • Assist with special projects related to HR technology, process automation, and best practices for remote/hybrid work environments.
