Marketing & CSR Coordinator
The Marketing & CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Coordinator at Wondr Nation plays a vital role in supporting Marketing & CSR initiatives for Wondr Nation. Reporting to the Manager, Digital Marketing, the Marketing & CSR Coordinator will be responsible for performing tactical digital marketing tasks in support of a variety of marketing needs and supporting the implementation of the company's Social Responsibility initiatives.
Candidate must be able to manage projects, have knowledge of marketing tactics, have knowledge of community outreach and engagement tactics, and be proficient in internet research. Comfort and proficiency with Microsoft Office (specifically Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint) plus Google products (specifically Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Drive) is a must. Candidate must have proven written and verbal communication skills. Candidate must be: a self-starter, with the ability to stay on task; personable, with the ability to work well and collaboratively with others; detail-oriented and well-organized. Creative or design skills a plus.
Candidates must have the ability to work flexible hours (evenings and weekends) as needed and be willing to travel as required including frequent local travel in Connecticut. Candidates must be located in the New England region, with a strong preference for candidates in Connecticut. This role is remote/hybrid. Office presence in Connecticut will be required in the future.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Support
Maintain and update marketing calendars and timelines.
Collect competitive market insights regularly.
Collect social content as needed (photos, video, employee responses).
Assist in development of marketing initiatives.
Support podcast production as needed.
Manage promotional premium inventory.
Assist with event execution including preparation and on-site implementation.
Gather, process and upload campaign data.
Work in web CMS (content management system) to update web pages.
Design assets in Canva as needed.
Maintain library of marketing process documents.
Maintain asset library (photo and video).
Online research.
Performs all other digital marketing related and compatible duties as assigned.
CSR Support
Maintain community & event support calendar.
Maintain Wondr Smart Lab calendar.
Assist in coordinating on-site logistics for community events as needed.
Attend community events and represent Wondr Nation.
Research potential community partners.
Track deliverables and deadlines for community outreach projects.
Track and report on the progress of community outreach projects.
Assist in planning for Wondr Nation Smart Lab including procurement/ordering of tools and materials.
Maintain inventory of Wondr Smart Lab assets, tools and resources.
On-site implementation of Wondr Nation Smart Lab STEAM initiatives.
Performs all other CSR-related and compatible duties as assigned.
Reporting & Analytics
Collect and/or compile metrics for Marketing & CSR reports and dashboards.
Administrative Support
Create and maintain key contacts list.
Schedule and prepare meetings, including coordination with internal and external parties and preparation of meeting documents.
Attend relevant internal and external meetings, take meeting notes, provide meeting summaries and follow-up on Marketing & CSR tasks as needed.
Maintain associated Teams and OneDrive folders sites.
Process and track expense reports for Marketing & CSR team members
Education & Experience
§ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business, or similar required.
2–4 years of experience in marketing execution required.
2-4 years of event execution required.
2-4 years working with community initiatives preferred.
Experience with managing projects.
Writing/composition experience highly preferred.
Experience working collaboratively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in online gaming industry desired.
